A Founder's Word

Dear Women,

It was 2 years ago, while pregnant with my second child that this all came to mind. I was looking to take a Scene Study class in the city and found nothing that was exclusively for women. I was hungry again to act, take classes with a great teacher, stretch my acting muscles and feel the exhilaration and the awe an actor feels once truly immersed in their character, exposing un discovered emotions and hidden truths, drawing understanding about ones self and human behavior. I needed to have that in my life again, and I had no where to go.  The thought of a place where women can have the opportunity to explore all of that and more was so exciting to me that I committed myself into making it a reality.

Here we are now and I truly and honestly feel so humbled and blessed to be able to bring this project to life and share two of my greatest passions with you.

Whether you are looking to have fun and let loose or if you are an artist at heart, Taliah PAC welcomes you, women from all walks of life to be a part of this venture, of this creative environment for women to share their stories, their lives, their loves and heartbreaks, their passion, their fears and emotions, their successes and failures, and the greatness and challenges of what it means to be a woman.

For me, Taliah is more than a studio, a performing arts center, it is a place where women are asked to make an effort and walk in with an open mind and an open heart so they can inspire and be inspired. We are women, we are magnificent and strong, we are delicate and feminine and, oh, so complicated, we break, we move on, we have so much to give and so many stories to tell. I believe that through Acting, Music and Dance one can tap into these hidden places, touch the weaknesses and turn them into strengths.

I welcome you, Ladies, to Taliah PAC.

Yours Truly,

Tamar.
